Ashburn Celebrates Women in Business with Inspirational Luncheon
ASHBURN, GA — May 7, 2025 More than 70 of Ashburn’s leading ladies gathered at First United Methodist Church on May 7 for the Ashburn-Turner County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Women in Business Luncheon — an afternoon dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and inspiring local female professionals and entrepreneurs. The event featured keynote speaker Tammy Belflower, who delivered a heartfelt and motivational message that resonated deeply with attendees. Laughter, connection, and empowerment filled the room as women shared stories, made new contacts, and reaffirmed their commitment to building a strong local business community. Each participant received a goodie bag filled with thoughtful gifts donated by local businesses, and door prizes were generously contributed by female business owners across Turner County. A delicious lunch was catered by a locally owned, woman-led business — another reminder of the incredible talent and leadership thriving right here in our community. “This event was about more than just a meal,” said Ashley Miller, Executive Director of the Chamber. “It was about reminding our women that they’re supported, celebrated, and vital to the success of our local economy.” With strong attendance, enthusiastic participation, and glowing feedback, the Chamber looks forward to making next year’s luncheon even bigger and better.
